Our location is kind of a no-brainer- our name says it all! Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne is located right in the heart of the high-end lifestyle community of Ballantyne, just off Charlotte's beltway (I-485). It's easiest to reach us by car, so hop onto the highway and you'll arrive in no time! Plus, your own wheels give you the flexibility you need to zip around to nearby area attractions, businesses, and downtown Charlotte.

Please note that I-485 is a loop that goes around the city of Charlotte. If you are on the Inner Loop you will be heading in a clockwise direction, and conversely the Outer Loop runs counterclockwise.

Flying in from afar? Don't worry! Charlotte Douglas International Airport is just 17 miles away. Served by all the major domestic airlines, it happens to be one of the country's busiest hubs. You'll have no problems finding a flight to suit your busy schedule.

Directions

From Charlotte Douglas Airport to Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne:

• Exit out of airport and make 1st LEFT onto OLD DOWD ROAD. (.2 miles)
• Turn RIGHT onto LITTLE ROCK ROAD. (.3 miles)
• Make a LEFT onto WILKINSON BLVD. (1.4 miles)
• Take LEFT onto I-485 OUTER RAMP towards PINEVILLE.
• Continue on I-485 for 15 miles.  *Please note exit numbers will go down to 1 and start over at Exit 67.
• Take EXIT 61 and bear RIGHT onto 521/JOHNSTON ROAD. (.9 miles)
• Make a LEFT at 2nd stoplight onto BALLANTYNE COMMONS PKWY. (.4 miles)
• Make a LEFT at the 1st stoplight onto BALLANTYNE CORPORATE PLACE. (.1 miles)
• ALOFT will be the second building on the LEFT.

From Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne to Charlotte Douglas Airport:

• Make a RIGHT out of Aloft and continue to stop light. (.1 miles)
• Make a RIGHT onto BALLANTYNE COMMONS PKWY. (.3 miles)
• Make a RIGHT onto 521/JOHNSTON ROAD (.9 miles)
• Turn LEFT at the 3rd stoplight onto I-485 INNER RAMP.
• Continue on I-485 for 15 miles.  *Please note exit numbers will start over at 1 after Exit 67.
• Take EXIT 9 - WILKINSON BLVD.
• Turn RIGHT on WILKINSON BLVD. (1.4 miles)
• Make a RIGHT onto LITTLE ROCK ROAD. (.3 miles)
• Make a LEFT onto OLD DOWD ROAD. (.2 miles)
• Make a RIGHT onto RC JOSH BIRMINGHAM PKWY.
• Continue straight into Charlotte Douglas Airport.
